Smarttone launches its new Medical Software in collaboration with Resistance Institute

Smarttone in collaboration with Resistance Institute launches its new software NEXA MEDICAL, an indispensable tool for rehabilitation centers, physical conditioning, physical therapy, high-performance clubs and universities for the study of strength.

Nexa medical represents a major leap in accelerating injury rehabilitation, since for the first time, software makes available to doctors each parameter that intervenes in the recovery phase in isolation and independently, storing data on the performance, extent and progress of each injury. These records are the key to accelerating the patient's rehabilitation process.

On the other hand, it offers different methodologies for performing the exercises prescribed for reconditioning the injury combined in the same software, something unprecedented to date.

Among the different functionalities of Nexa Medical, we would highlight:

INTELLIGENT FORCE CURVE/INTELLIGENT FORCE CURVE

Each exercise has its own controlled force curve created, which can be constantly improved through the Nexa medical software with the possibility of creating different force maps for each type of exercise. Welcome to the biomechanics of the future.

INERTIA-FREE LOAD

The motorized load is virtually inertia-free, so it is not affected by acceleration peaks as is the case with free weight, plates or any load that comes from the mass of objects.

CUSTOM ECCENTRIC LOAD

One of the most important advances offered by Nexa Medical is the possibility of choosing how much load you want to use in the eccentric phase (a phase where the muscles are usually 40% stronger compared to the concentric muscle phase). Nexa Medical allows this increase independently by programming this load before the start of the exercise.

ISOKINETIC MODALITY (ADAPTIVE RESISTANCE)
In this mode, we select a fixed speed instead of the variable load. Against which we offer whatever resistance we consider appropriate or prescribed by the doctor. This possibility opens up a new type of overload called ADAPTIVE RESISTANCE.

The software for this modality is designed to be able to compare the force curves and the evolution of each person, who competes with themselves to improve peak concentric and eccentric force, average strength and fatigue.

You can select a series by time, repetitions or fatigue and each time the exercise is performed, the client competes with their previous strength curves, being able to compare them.

TIME-STATIC AND FORCE MEASUREMENT
Variable speed training allows you to select a speed of 0, that is, to determine a specific position in the range and leave it static in that position.

This type of exercise allows us to train the muscles in an isometric reactive way (time-static) and to measure the force that is applied. As a result, this type of exercise allows us to:

1. Measure the Maximum Force in any position you want, store it and compare it.

2. Perform isometric-reactive training and be able to compare the improvement in average and maximum strength over the stipulated time range or work until a certain percentage of fatigue can be reached.

3. Engage in therapeutic strength work and injury rehabilitation by being able to measure and apply forces progressively and in specific isometric positions without the potential risks of joint movement for certain pathologies or inflammatory states.
